2018-2019 CDBG and HOME Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires entitlement communities to hold a public hearing to review program performance and to obtain the views of citizens on housing and community development needs. The program year 2018-2019 Consolidtated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) provides a review of the City’s performance and use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership Program funds.
The report has been available for a 30-day public review and comment period since Friday, August 23, 2019. The public comment period will end on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. All public comments received will be incorporated into the final draft of the plan, which will be submitted to HUD on September 27, 2019.
The availability of the plan for public review and comment was and will be advertised on the following dates: August 23; September 12; and September 19, 2019.
Discussion:
There is no fiscal impact to the City; however, HUD requires this report annually.
Impact:
This report provides an overview of the accomplishments in the Council approved strategic housing areas.
