Briefing on Code Enforcement
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The Property Maintenance and Zoning Enforcement Division is tasked with enforcing the Codes that protect the health, safety, and welfare of Hampton's citizens. However, many people are unaware of what this division can enforce, as well as the process that accompanies resolving a violation. This presentation is meant to help the Council and the public better understand the processes and challenges that exist in resolving compliance issues in a timely manner.
