Consideration of appointments to Hampton Federal Area Development Authority (FADA)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The terms of General Wallace Arnold and Winfield Arnott end on November 30, 2019, and both have served two consecutive terms and are not eligible for reappointment. Council is being asked to appoint two individuals until December 30, 2023.
Stevie Hunt submitted his resignation in April, 2019 due to an out of the country job transfer. Council is being asked to appoint a replacement to fill his vacancy until December 30, 2021.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
