PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this study is to provide the City information related to the potential economic impact of developing a casino.
Discussion:
The development of a casino could potentially be a strong revenue generator for the City. The full impact of the revenue will only be understood upon the receipt of this study and future actions to be taken by the General Assembly.
Impact:
This potential future development could possibly be a key element of development in the Coliseum Central district of the City.
