Consideration of an appointment to the Animal Control Advisory Committee
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The terms of Dr. Henry McKelvin and Andy Anderson ended January 31, 2020, both have served two consecutive terms and are not eligible for reappointment. A vacancy was also created by the death of Dan Winters. Council is being asked to appoint three individuals until January 31, 2023.
Dr. McKelvin served as the "veterinarian or other cerified animal health care professional" as described in Council's resolution adopted January 8, 2014.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.

The board is recommending Ms. Davis who is a licensed vet tech to fill Dr. McKelvin's vacancy. No recommendation was received for the vacancies of Mr. Anderson nor Mr. Winters as the board is hopeful for additional applications.
