Consideration of appointments to Citizens Police Advisory Group (CPAG)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Anne Andrews' served as the Citizens' Unity Commission (CUC) liaison on the CPAG and her term has ended and is ineligible to be reappointed. Council is being asked to appoint a CUC Representative to a term to expire March 31, 2024.
William Beach has missed three or more consecutive meetings without notice. Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill his unexpired term until December 31, 2021.
Two youth vacancies remain at this time. One previously held by Angelo Suggs, Jr. who no longer qualifies as a youth and is being recommended to fill Mr. Beach's unexpired term and the committee is actively looking for another.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
