Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
This briefing is an annual update on the progress made by the Safe and Clean Initiative. The briefing will highlight some of the efforts made by departments in the targeted Safe and Clean areas of the city.
Discussion:
The Safe and Clean Initiative operates under the belief that every citizen in the City of Hampton deserves to live in a neighborhood and residence that is safe, clean and provides an environment where that individual can reach their full potential. We also have a core belief that neighborhoods are the basic unit of action and change within our city.
