Update on CARES Act Funding

Purpose

PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:

Council authorized the acceptance of $11.7 million in CARES Act funding earlier this year. Recently, the Governor announced a second round of $11.7 million of additional CARES Act funding for the City of Hampton. Staff will update Council and the community on the planned/recommended uses of both rounds of CARES funding for Council consideration.
