Consideration of Appointments to the Citizens' Engagement Advisory Review Commission (CEARC)
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
UPDATE FOR SEPTEMBER 22, 2021: This item was originally on City Council's September 9, 2020, agenda and was deferred to March 10, 2021. On March 10, 2021, it was deferred to September 22, 2021.
The terms of Dr. Noor and Leroy Foster expired on June 30, 2020. Both have served two consecutive terms and are not eligible for reappointment. Council is being asked to appoint individuals until September 30, 2025.
Will Moffett submitted his resignation in March, 2020. Council is being asked to appoint a replacement to fill his vacancy until March 30, 2022.
The terms of Crystal Carrington, Debra Hudgins and Charlene Johnson expired on June 30, 2020, and are all eligible for reappointment until June 30, 2025.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
