Consideration of Appointments to the Golf Course Advisory Committee
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
UPDATE: No new applications as of November 2, 2020.
The terms of Anne Andrews and Brandon Singleton ended on September 30, 2020, and both are eligible for reappointment.
Waymon Murphy's term ended on September 30, 2020, and he is not eligible for reappointment.
A vacancy was created when Liz Smith's term ended on ended on September 30, 2019, and she did not wish to be reappointed.
Council is being asked to appoint or reappoint individuals until September 30, 2023.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.

Nick Hobbs currently serves on the H2O CDA until June 30, 2024, and the PTC CDA as an alternate until March 31, 2023
Recommendation:

It is the recommendation of the committee to reappoint both Anne Andrews and Brandon Singleton to a second term; and to appoint Judy Lawson to a first term.
The committee has been advised to keep one vacancy in order to keep the committee at seven to avoid a 4 to 4 vote. The committee is working on the by-laws to change the number of members.
