Boards and Commissions Commitment to Excellence
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
One of the goals of the Clerk of Council, City Attorney and City Manager has been to prepare a document that would outline expectations and legal requirements for all Boards & Commission members. The plan is to provide this document to all new Board members upon appointment. Council will be briefed on the proposed document, and be asked to provide any desired changes. We will place the item on the November 12, 2020 agenda for Council adoption after making any requested changes. The roll-out of the guidance document is scheduled to begin in January with opportunities for all existing Board members to be trained in that time frame.
