Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
To provide a mid-year update on the Council approved budget.
Discussion:
When Council approved the Fiscal Year 21 Budget, staff committed to provide regular updates given the uncertainty around the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the City Budget. Included in this commitment was for staff to provide a mid-year update and recommendations regarding the items frozen when the budget was adopted. This briefing will update Council on staff's projections for revenues and expenditures for fiscal year 2021, and provide recommendations on the items frozen in the budget.
