Consideration of Appointments to the Board of Zoning Appeals
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
On December 16, 2020, Linda Ellis submitted her resignation. She has agreed to continue serving until April of 2021 or until an individual has been appointed.
Dr. Tamika Lett's partial term ended on December 31, 2020, and she is eligible for reappointment to a full term ending December 31, 2025.
A vacancy for an second alternate still remains.
Council is being asked to recommend to the Hampton Circuit Court an individual to fill the unexpired portion of the term of Linda Ellis until December 31, 2023, and reappointment of Dr. Lett to her first full term, along with a second alternate.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
