Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
To provide an update on the Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise and the Purchasing and Procurement Oversight Committee (PPOC).
Discussion:
This program is beneficial because it further enhances the City's commitment to procuring services and goods from certified minority and women owned business. In addition, this program provides outreach, structure, education and growth for developing minority owned businesses.
Impact:
This is a City Council initiative to support minority and women owned businesses.
