Consideration of Appointments to the Hampton Redevelopment & Housing Authority (HRHA) Appointments
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
Stephen C. Adams has served two complete terms and his term expired on June 30, 2021. Council is asked to appoint a successor to a first four-year term which would expire on June 30, 2025.
James Eason has tendered his resignation from the authority to be effective when Council is able to appoint a successor. Mr. Eason's term is scheduled to expire on September 30, 2022. As such, Council is being asked to appoint an individual to fill the remainder of this term.
There are individuals in the Board Bank who have expressed a desire to serve on this board. Those applications are being provided to Council.
