Joint Work Session Regarding Economic Growth
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The City Council, Economic Development Authority, Hampton Housing & Redevelopment Authority, and Planning Commission will meet in a joint work session to enhance their collective ability to foster new economic and housing opportunities within the city. The joint session will include discussion around the work of the community planning process, the roles of each of the boards in advancing community and economic development goals, and a facilitated dialogue around future areas of opportunity in business and housing sectors.
Impact:
The session will help to inform the ongoing Community Planning update process across a variety of strategic areas.
