Resolution Approving Fiscal Year 2023 First Quarter Budget Adjustments
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
The City Charter requires City Council to approve any appropriations transferred from one department to another department and any appropriation of additional revenues.
Discussion:
The attached represents budget adjustments required for the first quarter of fiscal year 2023. The adjustments which require City Council notification will be sent under separate cover.
Impact:
There is no fiscal impact.
Recommendation:
Approve.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6.12(d) of the City Charter of the City of Hampton, at any time during the fiscal year, the City Manager may transfer all or part of any unencumbered appropriation balance within a department, office, or agency, which shall be reported to City Council at least quarterly, and upon recommendation of the City Manager, may be approved by resolution of City Council;
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager has recommended and, by this resolution, the City Council of the City of Hampton, Virginia approves the attached Fiscal Year 2023 First Quarter Budget Adjustments.
