Title
Resolution to Amend the Fiscal Year 2021 Council Approved Budget to Accept and Appropriate the 2020 Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot Program ("DCIPP") Grant awarded through the Department of Defense, Office of Economic Adjustment ("OEA")
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
In 2018, the Hampton City Council approved the Air Power Park Phased Recovery Plan and embarked on a program of improvements to ensure Air Power Park's future as a community asset. The Department of Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services developed a multi-year, multi-phase plan to accomplish this goal. In FYs 2019 and 2020, great progress was made within a limited budget. Impact:
The City of Hampton (the "City") has been awarded $707,008.50 in federal grant funds. The required local cash match is $707,008.50. Thus far, Parks, Recreation and Leisur...
