Briefing on Traffic Management in Phoebus and Downtown Hampton
Purpose
PURPOSE/BACKGROUND:
This briefing was requested by City Council as an update on the increased traffic congestion in Phoebus and Downtown Hampton as it pertains to the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (HRBT) and with the pending HRBT construction soon to begin. The presentation will also outline the current traffic patterns that have been set in place to help alleviate these congestion areas and it will also provide additional recommendation from the Police Division's Traffic Unit.
